Customer Renewable Supply Procurement

Customer Renewable Supply Procurement (CRSP)

Georgia Power’s CRSP Program allows commercial and industrial (C&I) customers to support their sustainability initiatives. Georgia Power will procure 1,000 megawatts (MW) of additional renewable generation through power purchase agreements (PPAs) for subscription by C&I customers. Georgia Power will retire the Renewable Energy Credits (RECs) on behalf of participating customers generated by the CRSP Portfolio.

Program Overview

The second and final CRSP application period is now closed.

In order to participate in the program, participating customers will need to:

  1. Submit a Notice of Intent Application including: a one-time $5,000 Participation Fee, Non-Disclosure Agreement, and Request for Electric Service (only for applications currently not taking electric service from Georgia Power).
  2. Sign a contract for a minimum of 10 years, with options in five-year increments up to 30 years.
  3. Purchase a monthly subscription at a fixed portfolio price. The customer will then receive an hourly credit based on the production from the renewable PPA(s). Hourly credits provided to the participating customer will be based on Georgia Power’s hourly operating cost of incremental generation.
