Errin has been on the Plant Bowen team for 10 years. In her role, she is committed to being a good steward for the city of Euharlee and for the State of Georgia.

Compliance with federal and state environmental requirements is only the beginning of our environmental commitment, and because of Errin’s effort we are able to provide energy to the state while fostering community in the Euharlee area.

 

With her father and grandfather both having successful careers in construction, Errin is no stranger to working with her hands. Today, she supports the single largest beneficial use project in the U.S. at Plant Bowen - where millions of tons of stored ash will be excavated for use in concrete to construct bridges, roads, and buildings in Georgia and throughout the Southeast.

After serving in the military, Joel’s engineering and adaptability skills as well as his team-oriented mindset transferred seamlessly into his role at Georgia Power.

 

Hydropower is Georgia Power’s first-ever energy source – dating back to 1906. And today we maintain 16 dams that generate carbon-free electricity for customers in every part of the state. None of this would be possible without employees like Joel.
