Our commitment to our community.

Here at Nebo, we pride ourselves on our human-centered approach — not just with our work, but also with our people. Everyone’s voice matters. As an agency, we’re taking a stand to build a workplace that honors diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) in the workplace.

We don’t pretend to be perfect and our goal is to be more transparent about how we can do better. We are getting real about systemic racism and other biases in the workplace. There aren’t always clear-cut answers or easy paths forward, but one thing is clear: our people are our cornerstone. We’re here to raise voices for our entire team and set the new standard for agency life.

Who We Are

We asked Nebo staff to take part in a voluntary survey so we could better understand the demographics of our people. Here’s an inside look at our current diversity profile.

Made With Love in Atlanta

Back in 2004, we planted our roots in Atlanta. It’s no surprise that our company has thrived just like the city that surrounds us. Atlanta has broken barriers and paved the way for some of the most important movements in history — from MLK to BLM. Atlanta’s BIPOC and LGBTQ+ cultures have influenced music, food, fashion and trends across the globe. As the hub of the southeast, Atlanta moves to the sound of its own beat. As we march forward, our agency will reflect the diverse people of Atlanta and the eclectic city we call home.

Nebo Pride
As an organization, we support our LGBTQ+ staff and allies by creating an inclusive work environment. From marching in the Atlanta Pride Parade to offering LGBTQ+ Partner Benefits, we’re committed to caring for our Nebo family as well as the community at large. All colors of the rainbow are welcome.

Keep up to date with all things Nebo Pride at Nebo.lgbt.

Supporting Our People.
Here’s a few ways we are taking steps to support our staff and community at-large.
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Team
A team of Nebo employees have come together to head up our DEI initiatives. By doing so, we create a company-wide standard to honor diversity year-round.
Cultural Holidays
It’s important that we honor and celebrate diverse holidays, such as; Juneteenth, Black History Month, Women’s History Month, Asian American Pacific Islander Month and more.
Legal Protection
We are proud to announce that we have partnered with ChancoSchiffer Law to provide 24/7 legal protection to employees who may be facing bias outside the workplace.

Our Own Voices

We believe in lifting up the voices of our entire team and giving everyone the room to share their perspectives on diversity and inclusion topics.

A Run for the Rainbow: Nebo Pride 2023

One of our favorite times of the year has arrived: Pride season! And here at Nebo, we’re using our rainbow powers to shine through a particularly gray and cloudy year. It’s 2023, folks. And yet somehow, we’re facing the most aggressive assault on LGBTQIA+ rights we’ve ever seen, with over 450 anti-LGBTQIA+ bills introduced in the last year alone. So this June, we decided to make a statement with this year’s Nebo Pride theme and let the world know that we Ain’t Goin’ Nowhere.  To kick off National Pride Month, we organized a team of racers to attend the annual Atlanta Pride Run, paying homage to our favorite queen with our team name: RuPaul’s Jog Race.

A Better World Starts with Awkward Questions

There was a distinct moment when I decided I would no longer try to hide or tiptoe around being gay (although tiptoeing would have been one of many things giving me away). It was my prom night. The year was 2004, and I was a lanky seventeen-year-old. A guy I didn’t know asked me: “Are you gay?”

The Do's & Don’ts of Celebrating AAPI Communities through Marketing

My mother woke me up for Diwali before the sun rose. I prayed while wearing the salwar kameez my grandmother couriered from India. My mother lit the incense sticks as my father offered delicacies to the murtis (statues of our many Hindu Gods). Together, we devoured the sweet gulab jamun. After our morning celebration, I refused to change out of my traditional garb. Eventually, my parents gave in and drove me to my elementary school.
